What’s new in Holarch
All notable changes to Holarch are listed here, newest first. Versions follow Semantic Versioning: a major release can need action from you, a minor release adds features, and a patch release fixes problems. Versions below 1.0 are a beta.
0.9.0 October 8, 2026
The first public beta of the hosted Holarch at app.holarch.app.
Added
- Accounts: sign up by invitation, sign in with email and password, verify your email address, reset a forgotten password, and manage your name, email, password and signed-in sessions on the Account page.
- Sharing and roles: share a project with people by email as owner, editor or viewer. Viewers get read-only editors. Owners can transfer a project to someone else. Deleted projects go to the Trash and can be restored.
- Live collaboration: several people can edit the same project at the same time and see each other's changes as they happen. Work done offline is merged when you reconnect, and earlier versions of a project can be restored.
- Attachments and clipart: attach files and images to items, documents and whiteboards, and keep your own clipart library. The Project Storage dialog shows how much space a project and your account use; large images are reduced before upload.
- Bring your own AI key: add your own key for Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google Gemini or Azure OpenAI to use AI features: turn requirements into functions, check and rewrite requirements, suggest flows and ask questions about your model. Keys are stored encrypted on the server. Every AI change is shown as a preview first and applied as one undo step.
- Organizations: group accounts for a class or a team. Organization administrators manage members and can turn AI off for the whole organization.
- Admin console: site administrators manage accounts, projects and organizations, send invitations, and review storage, AI use and an audit log of sign-ins and changes.
- Data policy: a notice at sign-up and in the app that the service is not for controlled unclassified information (CUI), export-controlled (ITAR/EAR) data or classified information.
- The workbench: requirements documents with quality checks, traceability and approvals; functional analysis, FFBDs, action and SysML diagrams and simulation; interface register and ICDs; Test Center and RVTM; risk register and trade studies; Kanban, Gantt, baselines and review packages; DoDAF and UAF products; and whiteboards with more than 6,000 icons.
- Help: a searchable Help Center that follows the navigation rail, with how-tos for common tasks, a topic for every page and diagram type, keyboard shortcuts and an LML primer. Press ? on any page for its topic. The same Help is published at holarch.app/help.
- About Holarch: Help → About Holarch shows the version you are using and links to this list of changes.
