Whiteboards

Sketch the concept, then link it to the model.

Whiteboards are free-form boards for brainstorming, concept sketches, OV-1 graphics and flowcharts. Draw with more than 6,000 icons, military symbols and systems-thinking shapes. Then link the sketch to the items it shows.

What you can do

Shapes, notes and drawing

Text, sticky notes, shapes, lines and arrows with labels, frames, tables and charts. Draw with a pen, marker or highlighter; Shape assist turns a rough stroke into a clean shape.

One clipart library

Holarch illustrations of ships, aircraft, satellites, ground stations and more, two open-source icon sets, and your own uploads. Search finds partial words, plurals and synonyms.

Military symbols

MIL-STD-2525 and APP-6 symbols. Search in plain words such as hostile submarine or by symbol code, and edit affiliation, echelon and amplifiers in the Symbol Builder.

Systems-thinking shapes

Shape sets for basic, flowchart, arrows, callouts, brackets and systems thinking. Smart guides snap to edges, centers and equal gaps.

Linked to the model

A whiteboard is an item in the model. Link sketch elements to model items, and turn sticky notes into draft requirements with Harvest Requirements.

Boards and export

Several boards per whiteboard, layers you can hide and lock, templates, export and copy as an image. Present from a frame.
