Planned
What we plan to build
Work we intend to do on Holarch, grouped by area. The list is not in order, and plans can change. When something ships, it moves to What’s new.

Formal programs
- Deviations, waivers and nonconformances, with their disposition shown in the verification matrices.
- Review item discrepancies and gate records: comments raised in a review, the actions they lead to, and closure.
- Customer specification compliance matrix: each customer requirement with its compliance statement and evidence.
- Issue, action and opportunity registers next to the risk register.
- Verification closure: sign-off of a verification, several evidence files per result, and verification stages and events.
- Program switches per project: turn the formal program and safety pages on for the projects that need them.
Safety and reliability
- FMECA worksheet: failure modes, effects, causes and criticality, linked to the functions and components in the model.
- Hazard log: hazards, their causes, controls and verification, linked to requirements and risks.
Modeling and analysis
- State machine simulation: run state machines next to action flows, with events, guards, effects and timed transitions, and check the results against requirements.
- Requirements with values: a value, unit, threshold and objective on a requirement, rolling up into budgets.
- Variants and configurations: product lines with options, rules and configurations, applied to views and documents.
- A general solver for coupled constraints with several unknowns.
- Correlated inputs in Monte Carlo simulation.
- Custom workflow states for change requests and other reviewed items.
Exchange and integration
- UML and SysML XMI export for other modeling tools, with stable ids, so a model sent there and back is updated rather than duplicated.
- More from XMI import: generalizations, state machine pseudostates such as choice, fork and join, sequence diagrams, and stereotypes with tagged values.
- Stable ReqIF ids, so a requirements tool and Holarch match the same requirement on every exchange.
- Webhooks that tell your own systems when a project changes.
- Organization audit log for organization admins, with export.
- Integration recipes: guides for connecting Holarch with issue trackers, code hosts and test systems through the API and MCP.
- Published round-trip results: what each exchange format keeps, changes and leaves out when a model goes out and comes back.
Larger projects
- Much larger projects: faster opening and editing well beyond today’s tested limits, with views that load only the part of a project they show.
- More measured limits: browser response times on large, diagram-heavy and document-heavy projects and on SysML v2 projects.
SysML v2
- Standalone KerML files imported into projects and checked.
- User-defined metadata and keywords with their own meaning.
- Individuals, snapshots and time slices with their full meaning.
- Variant selection computed from variation points.
- Sequence views with combined fragments such as alt, opt, loop and par.
- Allocation in the Insert menu and as lines in the views.
- Complete SysML v2 JSON exchange, with element ids kept through the text so re-imports match by id.
- A writable Systems Modeling API with more than one branch per project.
- Published test results on the public SysML v2 example models. SysML v2 language coverage lists today’s support and gaps.
Learning
- More tutorials: physical architecture and allocation, interfaces, simulating the functional flow, verifying the requirements, baselines and change impact, and producing the deliverable.
