Evaluating Holarch
Evaluating Holarch for your team
Where to find the facts an evaluation needs: language support, import and export, project size, security, service targets, data ownership, accessibility and pricing.
Evaluation matrix
Each row names a question an evaluation asks and the page that answers it. The columns mark which rows matter most for each use case.

By use case
Teaching a systems engineering class
Start with For classes: the Free / Academic plan, class status for an instructor’s organization, and the course material. Check Accessibility for your school’s review and Your data for how students keep their work.
An engineering team on the hosted service
Try the features on the EO-1 reference model, then compare your largest project with Tested limits. Security covers sign-in, single sign-on, roles, the audit log and the service targets.
A program with formal processes or controlled data
The hosted service holds no security certifications. For controlled data, Enterprise runs Holarch in your own authorized environment; see Certifications and contact us. Planned lists the formal program features in preparation.
Moving from another modeling tool
Import and export lists what each format brings across, including UML and SysML XMI and ReqIF. Import a copy of a real model and compare it with the original before you decide.
Building SysML v2 into your own product
The Holarch Language Engine is available for licensing. Its API reference shows every request and answer.
Try it on your own work
Build a small part of a real system, import a file from your current tool, and export it again. Students and instructors use the Free / Academic plan. A company evaluating Holarch can try the Individual plan free for 1 month; see Pricing. For a larger evaluation, or questions this page does not answer, contact us.
