Working with Others
Notifications and My Work
Hear about what needs you: mentions, assignments, reviews and changes to items you watch, under the bell and on My Work.
Where to find it
- The bell (top right) for notices; Plan & Deliver → My Work or ⌘K / Ctrl+K → My Work; Assignee, Due date and Watch in an item's Attributes.
Main actions
- Mention someone: type @ in a comment and pick a member of the project. They get a notice; the name shows as a chip.
- Assign an item: in its Attributes, choose the Assignee and set a Due date. Overdue items are marked. The assignee gets a notice.
- Watch an item: click Watch in its Attributes to get notices about changes, comments and suspect links. You also watch items you create, comment on, or are assigned or mentioned on; ✓ Watching stops it.
- Reviews: when a requirement goes to In Review, the project's reviewers and the item's watchers get a notice, and it stays on their My Work until it is approved or rejected.
- The bell: shows unread notices by project; click one to open the item. Mark All Read clears the count. Changes to one item within 15 minutes are combined into one notice.
- My Work: items assigned to you with due dates, requirements awaiting your review, mentions from the last 30 days and recent changes to watched items, across your projects.
- Email: on the Account page or My Work, choose Daily digest (the default), Immediately for mentions and assignments, or Off. Every email has a link that turns email notices off.
Tips
- Only members of a project get its notices. Notices are kept for 90 days.
- Assignee and due date are Holarch properties of every item; they are not part of LMLLifecycle Modeling Language An open modeling language with a small set of classes and relationships that covers a system's whole lifecycle. Holarch models are LML models..
