Working with Others
Contributions
See what each member of a project created, changed, commented on and approved, with links to the work itself. Instructors review each student's work and compare it with an assignment's due date.
Where to find it
- ⌘K / Ctrl+K → Contributions in a project, or Share → See each member's contributions. Instructors: the Class Review tab of Organization Settings (⌘K / Ctrl+K → Class Review).
Main actions
- All members: one row per member with items created and changed (by class), relationships, diagrams, comments, approvals, active days and the last activity. Counts show activity, not the quality of the work.
- One member: click a row to see their items created and changed (with links), the documents they worked on, relationships, diagrams and whiteboards, comments, approvals and their item history. Print / PDF prints the page.
- Export: Export (Excel) writes one sheet for all members and one per member; Export (CSV) writes the members table.
- Assignments (instructors): in Class Review, + New Assignment takes a name and a due date. At the due date the server keeps a baseline of every project of the class. In Contributions, Compare with shows each count as of the due date in parentheses, After due date counts later changes, and later work is marked with its date.
- Class roll-up: Class Review → Class roll-up exports every student across the group projects to Excel (one sheet for everyone, one per group, one per student) or CSV, optionally with the due-date columns.
- AI summary: on request, ✦ Summarize This Member's Work… (or the group's) writes a short description of the recorded activity. It is marked AI-written and is not a grade. It follows the organization's AI setting.
Tips
- Owners of a project and the administrators of its class organization see every member; other members see only their own row. Viewing another person's work is recorded in the audit log.
- Times are when the server received each change, so work saved offline counts when it reaches the server.
