Review Comments (RIDs)

Review item discrepancies (RIDs): the comments reviewers raise against a review package, each dispositioned and closed through its actions. A RID is an Issue whose Kind is RID. The tab shows with the Formal program on (Project Preferences → Program features).

Where to find it

• In the navigation rail: Control & Reviews → Reviews.
• Address: compilations?tab=rids.

Main actions

• Top bar: Import ▾ → RIDs from CSV or Excel…, Export ▾ (Excel, CSV) and + New RID.
• New RID: review package, comment, title, location (section or page), severity (Critical, Major, Minor, Editorial), the item it is about, suggested change and originator. RIDs are numbered RID-1, RID-2, ….
• Import: columns are matched by header (Comment, Title, Location, Severity, Suggested Change, Originator, Item by number). A preview lists the rows; Import is one undo step.
• Filter by review package and by disposition. Set Disposition (Accepted, Accepted with Changes, Rejected, Deferred, Withdrawn) in place.
• Row ⋯: Open Action… creates an action item that resolves the RID; work it in Issues & Actions. Close is available once the RID has a disposition and every action is closed; Reopen undoes it.
