Signing In

Holarch on the web needs an account. Accounts are by invitation: a project owner or the site administrator sends you a link.

Where to find it

The sign-in screen appears whenever no one is signed in. Links in Holarch emails open the matching screen.

Accept an invitation: open the link in the email. Without an account, enter your name and a password and confirm the data restriction; with an account, sign in and the project opens.
Sign in: your email address and password. After several wrong attempts, sign-in waits a little longer each time.
Forgot your password: enter your email address. The link that arrives works once, for 1 hour, and signs out every other device when used.
Passwords: at least 12 characters; not a common password and not your email address.
Sign out: the account button (your initials) at the right of the top bar → Sign Out. Your cached projects are removed from this browser.

Sessions end after 14 days without use, and after 90 days in any case. When a session ends, Holarch asks you to sign in again and keeps unsaved changes in this browser.
Links in emails expire: invitations after 7 days, password resets after 1 hour.
