Requirements Quality

Scores requirements against 9 criteria: Appropriate, Complete, Conforming, Correct, Feasible, Necessary, Singular, Unambiguous and Verifiable. Score = 100 × (number met) / 9.

Where to find it

• In the navigation rail: Needs & Requirements → Quality.
• From a document: More ▾ → Quality Check. Address option: quality?doc=<id>.

Main actions

• Top bar: More ▾ (Clear Manual Overrides, Open Document), Export ▾ (Excel, CSV) and Run Quality Check. ✦ AI ▾ → AI Quality Review (N requirements)… judges Correct, Feasible and Necessary and suggests rewrites.
• Choose the scope: all requirements or one document. The tiles show the count, average score, Good (≥ 67%), Needs Rework and Stale.
• The automatic check finds ambiguous words, a missing “shall”, compound requirements, unverifiable wording and duplicates. Click a criterion cell to override it.
• Click a row to see the requirement in the inspector.

Tips

• When a requirement's text changes, its score shows Stale — re-run and its manual overrides are cleared (they stay in History, and Undo brings them back).
• Re-check automatically when the text changes runs the rule check on a requirement after each edit (kept in this browser).
