Trace Requirements and Find Gaps
Link requirements to functions, assets and tests, and find what is missing.
- Open Verification → Traceability Matrix. In the left pane set Left (Y Axis) to your requirements document and Top (X Axis) to a class such as Action or Test Case.
- Choose the relationship type (for example satisfied by or verified by) and click empty cells to create links. Turn on Gaps only to see rows without links.
- Choose ✦ AI ▾ → Traceability Assist (suggest missing links), review the suggestions and accept the correct ones.
- Open a requirement's Spider diagram (Open ▾ → Spider) to see its whole trace web; Impact Analysis shows what a change would affect.
- Check gaps from other angles: Verification → RVTM (the Unverified card), Verification → Model Checks, or the Database query
class:Requirement AND NOT relationship:"verified by". - Report with Export ▾ in the matrix, or the document's RVTM, VCRM or TVM reports.
