Acronyms and Glossary
A dotted underline marks an acronym in Holarch. Point at it, tap it, or move to it with Tab to see what it stands for and a one-line definition.
Where acronyms are explained
- Help topics and the documentation links under them.
- Page titles, page descriptions and empty pages.
- The overview page of each lifecycle group, the diagram type picker, and the DoDAFDepartment of Defense Architecture Framework The US DoD framework for describing architectures as a set of viewpoints and products, such as OV-1 and SV-1. and UAFUnified Architecture Framework An OMG architecture framework that organizes views in a grid of viewpoints and aspects. What is not changed
Your own text (names, descriptions, documents) is left as typed. To explain acronyms in it too, turn on Preferences → Acronyms → Explain acronyms in your own text: documents and descriptions then show the explanations when they are not being edited. Text you are editing is never changed.
Turn it off
Clear Preferences → Acronyms → Show acronym explanations. The setting is kept in this browser.
