Program Features

Two switches per project show or hide the pages that only formal programs need: Formal program (for contract programs with formal reviews, deviations and verification closure) and Safety & Reliability (the Safety & Reliability section of the rail). Each switch lists the pages it shows; a switch whose pages are not available yet says so, and a section without pages stays out of the rail.

Where to find it

• Home ▾ → Project Preferences… → Program features, or Project Preferences… in the project's row ⋯ on Manage Projects while the project is open.

Main actions

• Default: both are off in new projects and class projects. While a switch has not been set, it is on when the project uses the DoD or NASA process guide (Plan → SE Process) and off otherwise.
• Switch on or off: tick or clear the box and click Save. The change is one undo step and applies to everyone working on the project.
• Off hides, never deletes: the pages leave the rail, ⌘K / Ctrl+K and the overviews; their items stay in the project and links to them still open. Switching on again shows everything as it was.
