Architecture
Internal Block Diagram
The internal parts of a block, nested, with ports and connectors (Conduits) and the items that flow through them.
Where to find it
- Architecture overview page, Diagrams at the bottom of the rail (+ Create Diagram ▾), an entity's Open ▾, or the type selector in the top bar of any diagram of a suitable root.
Main actions
- Item flows: each connector shows the Input/Outputs it conveys in green, with a triangle for the direction (from the performing actions, else the port directions, else the connector's setting). View ▾ → Item Flows hides them.
- Select a connector for Conveyed Items (+ Add Item ▾, suggestions for I/Os the two ends already exchange), Interface Status, Owner, TBD/TBR, Interface Requirements (+ Link Requirement…) and the Capacity Check. The label turns red when over capacity and orange on a unit mismatch.
- Ports: set a port's Type (an interface block or Input/Output) and Conjugated; a typed port reads “name : Type”, a conjugated one “~Type”. Create Port adds the conjugated counterpart.
- Interface Register (toolbar) lists the diagram's connectors.
