Distributions

Number and duration attributes (an Action's Duration, a Cost's Amount) accept a distribution that the Simulator samples on every run. Timelines and rollups use its mean.

DistributionFormula
Beta=beta.dist(α,β)
Binomial=binom.dist(n,p)
Exponential=expon.dist(λ): λ is the rate, so the mean is 1/λ (=expon.dist(0.25) hours has a mean of 4 hours)
Gamma=gamma.dist(k,θ)
Log Normal=lognorm.dist(μ,σ)
Normal=norm.dist(μ,σ)
Poisson=poisson.dist(λ)
Triangular=triang.dist(a,b,c)
Uniform=uniform.dist(a,b)
Weibull=weibull.dist(λ,k)

Durations cannot be negative: a sampled value below 0 is drawn again, so a normal duration is truncated at 0. Keep σ well below μ to make the difference negligible.
