Ask AI and AI Tools

Optional AI assistance through the provider you choose. Every AI change is previewed first and applied as one undo step.

Where to find it

✦ AI in the top bar opens Ask AI. Its ▾ lists the AI tools of the current page, then AI Settings…. Pages without AI tools show only ✦ AI.
The same tools are in ⌘K (“AI tools for this page”).

Ask AI answers questions about the open project (“Which requirements have no verifying test case?”) and about Holarch (“How do I import a CSV of requirements?”). Enter sends, ⇧Enter adds a line; ⚙ opens AI Settings, ⟲ clears the conversation. Answers link to the entities and help topics they use.
Documents and the Entity View (with a requirement selected): Improve Wording…, Make Measurable…, Simplify…, Split into Singular Requirements…, Draft Rationale…, Suggest Name…, AI Quality Review (this requirement)…, Expand Requirements…, Generate Test Case…; then Generate Risks…, Generate Requirements…, Summarize Document…, Translate Document….
Other pages: Quality (AI Quality Review), Traceability Matrix (Traceability Assist, Suspect Assist), Trade Studies (Suggest Criteria…, Draft Decision Rationale…), Functional Analysis (Extract Functions with AI…, Suggest Flow with AI…), Risk Diagram (Generate Risks…), Whiteboard (Harvest Requirements…).
In content: the rich-text editor's ✦ button (improve, simplify, fix, shorten, expand, tone, translate, insert AI content) and the clipart panel's ✦ Generate with AI…. Rewrites show Current, Suggested and Changes before Replace.

Without an AI key, ✦ AI is turned off and says “Add an AI key in Account → AI keys”; see Add an AI Key. Everything else works without AI.
Ask AI answers only from Holarch's help and the project; when something does not exist it says so.
Viewers cannot use AI tools. AI is blocked for projects marked CUI, ITAR, EXPORT CONTROLLED, SECRET or similar.
